Update 18 JUNE 2025: The pool is now back at it's normal operating temperature of 28C and all Indoor pool operations have returned to normal.

FAQs:

When is the Indoor Pool likely to reopen?
The Indoor pool has reopened and is back to normal operations.

The Indoor Pool has reopened why hasn’t my lessons recommenced?
When we made the decision to pause the program, we took the opportunity to provide further upskilling and training to our team. Our lessons will return this Friday 20 June.

Have I been charged for lessons that my child hasn’t been able to participate in?
If your child swum on the Friday Saturday and Sunday (13, 14 and 15 June) the debit had already occurred. Your lessons were missed due to the closure of the pool, so we credited your account. The debit that was set to come out on the 12 June (that covers the period of the 16 June – 29 June) was cancelled and you were not charged.

When is lessons returning do I have to pay extra now that there was no debit charged?
Lessons will return Friday 20 June. We have worn the cost of the charge to the business you do not need to pay (this will mean you have 2 weeks free)

When are the baby’s classes recommencing? Where are they being held?
Friday the 20 June, if the hydrotherapy pool hasn’t reopened, they will be in the Indoor Pool

When is the Hydrotherapy pool opening?
We do not have a return date yet but are working towards reopening

UPDATE 16 June 2025: We are pleased to advise that the works on the indoor pool water heater have completed.

We are in the process of returning the water temperature to normal operating ranges, and the water is currently 26.8C. We are expecting to reach our normal operating temperature of 28C by tomorrow afternoon (17/6/25).

Updates to Programs:

Based on the above, we will be able re-establish some of our planned programming as per below:

  • Squads will return on Tuesday 17 June, under their standard timetable of dry land & water sessions
  • Aqua aerobics will return Wednesday 18 June at 9.30am
  • The YAH program will be a water-based class so bring your swimmers instead of those running shoes!
  • Learn to Swim returns to the indoor pool on Friday 20 June, Babies classes will also be running in the indoor pool until the hydrotherapy center re-opens

We are currently experiencing an unexpected failure to one of our water heating units for the indoor pool at Ripples St Marys.

Urgent works to replace the faulty unit have begun on 12 June 2025.

At this time the indoor pool will remain open, however the water heating system will need to be turned off to allow for the repairs to be completed safely. As a result, we do expect the water temperature to drop over the next few days.

We are committed to keeping the indoor pool available for those who wish to swim, even though the temperature may not be suitable for everyone.

The replacement works are expected to take approximately 3-4 days, with an additional 2-3 days for the water to return to its normal operating temperature.

We have made adjustments to a number of memberships and adjusted the financials accordingly.

Please see the details of the changes below:

We thank you for your understanding and patience.
