Planned Maintenance - Penrith Pools

UPDATE 8th August 2025:

Unfortunately, upon commencement of the works, further issues were identified within the pool plant and equipment that required additional work to be undertaken that was not initially anticipated. 

Whilst the initial closure was scheduled for approximately 6 weeks to allow this work to be completed, the change in the scope of work needed means that the pool will need to remain closed until at least October. This is to allow all the required parts to be ordered and for the work to be completed.  

An exact re-opening date is not confirmed as yet, and further updates will be provided once this has been determined. 

UPDATE 23 MAY 2025:

Upcoming Temporary Closure at Ripples Penrith starting from 9 June 2025.

During our regular scheduled maintenance, several key mechanical elements to the equipment, associated with the reticulated plant system, have been identified for replacement. This includes cleaning of the sand filter beds, replacement of operational valves that control water flow and water quality, as well as annual cleaning and servicing of underground water holding tanks.

The temporary closure is scheduled to commence Monday 9 June 2025 to allow for these works, as well as planned building works and electrical upgrades. The restoration of regulatory water standards will then follow these works. Water quality restoration has been included in the closure interval. This scheduling has been adopted to coincide with the lowest usage period of Ripples Penrith.

St Marys indoor pool is open alternatively membership holds are also available if you would prefer to suspend your membership. You can request a suspension by filling out the Suspension Form or loginning into your portal.
